Guide Wire
The wire goes first and stays longest. It is the one device in the set that is present for the whole case, which is why its behaviour sets the tone for everything delivered over it.
Intended use
Intended to facilitate the delivery of catheter-based interventional devices during percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) and percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA). This guide wire may also be used with compatible stent devices during therapeutic procedures.
